The International Police Academy (UNIPOL) is proud to announce the appointment of Deputy Colonel Batjav Batsaikhan as the Coordinator Director of Law Enforcement Academies Section, Mongolia.


This significant appointment recognizes Deputy Colonel Batsaikhan’s extraordinary career, unwavering dedication to law enforcement, and exceptional contributions to public safety and police training in Mongolia and beyond.




Deputy Colonel Batsaikhan brings over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, criminal investigation, security management, and law enforcement education to his new role. His career is marked by a strong commitment to advancing public safety, fostering international collaboration, and shaping the next generation of law enforcement professionals.


A Distinguished Career in Law Enforcement

Deputy Colonel Batsaikhan began his career in 1990 as a protector and Sambo Karate teacher at the Dornod Province Police Division, where he specialized in preventive protection services. He later served as a Criminalist Expert in the Criminal Department of the Dornod Province Police Unit, honing his expertise in forensic analysis and criminal investigation.


In 2001, he transitioned into law enforcement education, joining the Police Academy as a teacher in the Police Legal Department. Over the next decade, he rose through the ranks, becoming a Senior Teacherand later the Head of the Department of Official Training at both the University of Law Enforcement and the University of Internal Affairs. His leadership in educational management was further strengthened by his academic pursuits, including a Master of Education from the Mongolian State University (MSU) and doctoral studies in Educational Management.


International Collaboration and Advanced Training

Deputy Colonel Batsaikhan is a strong advocate for international collaboration in law enforcement. He has participated in numerous training programs worldwide, including:

  • Counter-Terrorism Training with the Turkish Counter-Terrorism Authority (2009)

  • Public Safety Tactics Training led by US and UK trainers (2005)

  • Police Self-Defense Tactics Training at the Turkish Police Academy (2009)

He is also a certified International Krav Maga Instructor, having completed advanced training in Israel and achieving the prestigious G-1 Level Certification in 2019. His expertise in self-defense and tactical training has made him a respected figure in the global law enforcement community.


A New Chapter with UNIPOL

In his new role as Coordinator Director of Law Enforcement Academies Section, Mongolia, Deputy Colonel Batsaikhan will oversee the development and implementation of training programs for law enforcement professionals across Mongolia, ensuring they meet international standards of excellence. His appointment underscores UNIPOL’s commitment to fostering global partnerships and advancing law enforcement education worldwide.

Under the guidance of Dr. Alexander Jan M (Hany El Zahar), Executive Director, Founder, and CEO of the International Police Academy UNIPOL, alongside key contributions from Prof. Yuval Binstoc, IPA President Sir Junustia Brecen, and Rtd. Senior Superintendent Police Shuaib Adam Hsc Oly Vj, International Director of Law Enforcement, Police, and Military, Deputy Colonel Batsaikhan’s leadership will play a pivotal role in strengthening Mongolia’s law enforcement capabilities.
